FAQ

Where Is The Studio Located?

At I-285 and I-85. Just 10 minutes from downtown Atlanta and 30 minutes to Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Our address is 3995 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30340.

How Big Is The Facility?

Main Sound Stage is 12,400 square feet (117x106) with a 30-foot lighting grid. In addition, there is 15,000 square feet of mill, office, green room, and support space.

What Do You Mean By a True Sound Stage?

The facility is a building within a building. It has a floating floor and is specifically designed to keep unwanted audio out of a production. Rain, highway noise, planes, helicopters, or a leaf blower will not stop a scene again.

How Much Power Is Available?

On the stage there are three 200-amp 3 phase disconnects that are on an isolated transformer and are on UPS power. There are also two 400-amp 3 phase disconnects that can be used for anything.  In the lighting grid there are 560 20-amp dimmable Bates connectors, 56 50-amp dimmable Bates connectors and 78 20-amp relay Edison connectors. All can be controlled by Art-Net which is run throughout the Stage.

What Is the Load Capacity Of The Lighting Grid?

The lighting grid is made of schedule 80 steel pipe and can accommodate a variety of configurations.  For exact details as well as a load memo from the structural engineer please contact us at info@itstudioatl.com.

Who Can Use The Space?

We strive to partner with family-friendly productions that are making content the whole family can enjoy, including commercial work, camera tests, virtual productions, and augmented reality.

Do You Have Drawings?
